Emma Beuchot

With bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology, Emma is currently coordinating the research project Continuum Autisme : comprendre les besoins des services sociaux des adultes autistes et développer des pratiques d'accompagnement collaboratives sur le continuum de services, directed by Dr. Marie-Hélène Poulin at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and co-directed by Dr. Marie-Hélène Morin at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR).

Emma developed an interest in social research as part of her academic training. Motivated to further her knowledge as well as develop meaningful experiences for her future practice, she was awarded a Bourse d'initiation à la recherche au 1er cycle (FRQ-SC) in 2018 for an internship with Marie-Hélène Poulin at UQAT for the Partenariat et Autisme (PAD) project: vers un modèle concerté de services pour une meilleure participation sociale. Committed to improving healthcare services in Quebec for people with autism, it is with enthusiasm and motivation that she continues, as a research professional and coordinator, the Continuum Autisme project in 2023.
